Reading bonus terms without a law degree
Start with the wagering multiple and what it applies to — the bonus, or bonus plus deposit. The same '10x' can mean very different totals. Then find the minimum odds: they decide how much risk the operator forces into your qualifying bets.
Next, the clock: how long do you have to complete wagering, and what happens to winnings if time runs out? Short windows on large multiples are the classic squeeze. Check the maximum stake while wagering, too — breach it and many operators void the bonus.
Finally, look for market restrictions and payment-method exclusions. Some offers quietly exclude entire sports or void the bonus for certain deposit methods.
If the terms are clear, short and easy to find, that says something good about the operator. If they read like they were written to be misread — that says something too, and our reviews mention it.
Terms and offers change faster than any review site can promise to track, so treat the operator's own published terms as final. What doesn't change: gambling is restricted to adults, it carries a built-in cost, and the tools to keep it in bounds are free on every licensed site.
